Express Yourself Pediatric Therapy is hiring a neuroaffirming, pediatric occupational therapist or COTA to join our amazing team of holistic, transdisciplinary therapists for a part-time after-school hour position. We employ expert level clinicians who are motivated, passionate, and have a love of working with the pediatric population. We are seeking a playful, nurturing, and flexible candidate. Advanced knowledge using a play based model or DIR / Floortime and understanding sensory processing, emotional regulation, and praxis is preferred but not required.

  • Roles and Responsibilities :

    Conduct occupational therapy assessments utilizing standardized and criterion based measures and develop meaningful treatment plans

    Work closely with parents and other professionals

    Provide 1 : 1 occupational therapy utilizing research based methodologies

    Co-treat with speech / language pathologists

    Run occupational therapy dyads, groups, camps

    Requirements :

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA in IL
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and report writing skills
  • Experience working with pediatric patients
  • Job Type : Part-Time, After-School Hours

    Pay : $60-$75 / hr ranging

    Expected hours : 15-20 hours

  • Ideally therapist can pick their own days that they would like to work, but we are looking for someone to work three days a week around 3-7pm
  • Start Date : anticipated start date will be November 18, 2025
  • There is also flexibility to begin sooner if you are interested.
  • Training will tentatively begin the week of October 13, 2025.
