job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDelivering age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents. Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Obtaining and recording vital signs while providing psychosocial support. Helping residents with mobility, including transferring and repositioning using proper techniques. Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks. Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse. Providing housekeeping and laundry services to maintain clean living areas. Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs. A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is a plus. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or the ability to obtain it within four months of starting. A commitment to completing yearly competency testing and maintaining continuing education credits.
