Near Madison & Wisconsin Dells $215 / hr (1099) Night Shifts Needed Urgently
Are you a board-certified physician ready to make a meaningful impact in a high-functioning inpatient setting? We’re seeking a Locum Hospitalist to join a well-equipped community hospital in south-central Wisconsin, offering competitive pay and a collaborative clinical environment.
Position Highlights
- $215 / hr (1099) – premium locum rate
- Night coverage needed : 7 PM – 7 AM
- Flexible scheduling No on-call duties
- Inpatient-only role with full support staff
Clinical Scope
As a hospitalist, you’ll :
Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditionsOrder and interpret diagnostic testsPrescribe medications and oversee treatment plansCoordinate care with specialists and allied health professionalsEnsure smooth transitions from admission to dischargeSupervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)Facility Overview
Average daily census : 13–16 patientsOn-site Emergency Department, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and GynecologyFull-spectrum Radiology and Lab ServicesUW Med Flight stationed on-site for critical transfersLocated 30 minutes north of Madison and 20 minutes south of Wisconsin Dells—perfect blend of city access and scenic charmRequirements
Active Wisconsin license or IMLC eligibilityCurrent ACLS and BLS certificationsComfortable supervising APPsWhy This Role Matters
