American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Galion, Ohio.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with an OH or compact license, ACLS / BLS certification, and travel nursing experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the ICU unit within a hospital setting
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00
  • Assigned to Galion but must be willing to float to all campuses as needed
  • Care for critically ill adult patients
  • Epic EMR experience preferred, but not required
  • On-call may be required with a 1-hour response time
  • Pre-start orientation modules must be completed prior to starting the assignment
  • Holiday and holiday week time-off requests will not be approved; all staff must be available during these periods
  • No blocked schedules allowed
  • Former permanent employees must wait 6 months before returning
  • No more than 7 days of RTO approved during the assignment
  • Scrubs or dress code not specified

  • Active OH or compact state RN license required (no pending licenses)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent and continuous ICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Ability to float to multiple hospital campuses if needed
  • Must comply with smoke-free facility policies
