We have an exciting opportunity at Kite for Associate Director, Global Insights & Analytics. This position will be on the Pipeline & Portfolio team and will support Kite's commercialization efforts for CAR-T, inform the lifecycle management process, and collaborate with key stakeholders to guide product and disease area strategy.

In this role, you will participate actively in commercial efforts by providing an objective and detailed understanding of current and future markets, product performance, customers, and competitors. You will also be responsible for generating foundational market understanding within the CAR-T area through the execution of market research and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Forecasting
  • Independently design & build forecast models for new markets / assets
  • Leverage primary and secondary research insights and cross-functional partners' inputs to design and build, maintain patient-based (epi) forecasting models
  • Produce analogues, formulate assumptions, and define opportunities and risks associated with the forecast
  • Conduct forecast scenario analysis to inform and support decisions by cross-functional partners
  • Provide guidance and input for short-term demand planning
  • Synthesize market dynamics to identify potential drivers impacting performance
  • Able to assume full responsibility for accuracy and reliability of analyses
  • Market Research
  • Independently lead projects, coordinating input from the cross-functional team to scope, design and manage the execution of qualitative and quantitative market research studies with physicians, patients, and payers globally
  • Integrate results of market research, latest competitive intelligence, as well as secondary analytics into actionable insights
  • Manage vendors to determine appropriate research methodology, ensure project alignment to business objectives and guide execution and reporting

  • Effectively partner with and communicate to key stakeholder groups to support strategic and tactical decision making

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • Masters' degree and 8+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • PhD and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in forecasting and market research within the biotech / pharmaceutical industry
  • Understanding of the hematology / oncology clinical landscape and the business of cell therapy
  • Experience in Multiple Myeloma
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities and significant time pressures
  • Strategic agility to adapt expertise in forecasting and primary market research to a biopharmaceutical field where standard frameworks do not exist
  • Demonstrated ability to extract business insights and provide strategic recommendations based on analysis findings
  • Comfort presenting to senior leadership and defending forecast assumptions
  • Experience working on a co-commercialized asset

  • The salary range for this position is : Other US Locations : $177,905.00 - $230,230.00. Bay Area : $195,670.00 - $253,220.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
