Job Title : Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment across eight production lines within our facility. You will be tasked with working on extrusion machines, conveyors, and vacuum pumps. Your expertise in troubleshooting, rewiring motors, and electrical systems up to 480 volts will be essential. Experience with PLCs is highly advantageous, but electrical proficiency is the most critical requirement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair extrusion machines, conveyors, and vacuum pumps.
• Troubleshoot and rewire motors and electrical systems up to 480 volts.
• Work with PLCs and perform electrical repairs.
• Ensure all machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret schematics for maintenance tasks.
• Perform welding tasks as needed to support maintenance activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract-To-Hire position based out of Bakersfield, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 / hr.
