We are searching for new members for the Meijer family to deliver quality customer experience as a Food Clerk in the deli department at our Acme, MI Store Location!

As a Food Clerk, you will be responsible for :

Responsibilities

Anticipate and deliver exceptional service consistently.

Must keep deli case presentation and backstock impeccable.

Operate commercial culinary equipment

Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, chicken wings, and potato wedges

Samples products to customers

Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators

Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotates when necessary

ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS WELCOME; TRAINING PROVIDED

Must be available to work Saturday or Sunday. All shifts available.

CURRENT OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN DELI, BAKERY, FOOD SERVICE OR RESTAURANT A PLUS!
