Travel Centers of America is searching for a dedicated and skilled Weekend Baker to join our dynamic team for the Saturday-Sunday-Monday shift. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods to ensure that our customers have fresh and delicious options available every morning. Key Responsibilities :
- Bake a range of items, including donuts, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare and measure all ingredients accurately for each recipe.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering baking supplies as necessary.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of all baked goods and ingredients.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service during morning shifts when interacting with guests and fulfilling special orders.
Requirements
Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role in a food service environment is preferred.Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.Able to work overnight shifts, showcasing reliability and independence.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy baking materials.A passion for baking and creativity in developing new products is a plus.Ability to stand for extended periods, and lift 50lbs with no issues.Benefits
