As a Program Manager II in the Haul Production Planning Team at Amazon, you will drive strategic initiatives that transform how we optimize our transportation network and warehouse capacity. In this role, you will lead cross-functional efforts to enhance our logistics operations through data-driven decision making and innovative solutions. You will develop and implement comprehensive production planning processes that balance efficiency, cost, and service levels across our network. You will manage relationships with 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless integration with Amazon's operations while maintaining service excellence and cost effectiveness. A key aspect of your role will be building scalable tools and processes that enable the business to grow while improving operational metrics. You will leverage AI and machine learning technologies to drive productivity improvements and automate routine planning tasks, allowing the team to focus on strategic initiatives. This role requires a combination of analytical thinking, program management expertise, and technical knowledge to successfully navigate complex logistics challenges. You will collaborate with business leaders, operations teams, technology partners, and external providers to deliver solutions that enhance the customer experience while optimizing Amazon's transportation and warehousing resources.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
