Experience with Compensation & Pension exams preferred, but not required. Competence in performing : Musculoskeletal assessments with range of motion. Pulmonary function test (PFT) interpretation. ECG interpretation. Pelvic, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary examinations. Strong knowledge of aseptic technique in clinical settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Continuing education credits. Malpractice insurance coverage. Supportive, collaborative clinical environment. Geriatrics Home Health Internal Medicine Occupational Medicine Primary Care Urgent Care Full-Time, Monday to Friday. No weekends or evenings. No on-call responsibilities. Master s degree required.

About the Role
Monterey Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Akron, OH. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality care by conducting medical disability evaluations for Veterans and Separating Military Members, along with occupational health exams such as Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals and pre-employment assessments.
Responsibilities
- Perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for Veterans.
- Conduct pre-discharge physical exams for active-duty service members.
- Provide occupational physicals including DOT exams, pre-employment exams, fit-for-duty exams, and health assessments.
- Complete thorough documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate patients as appropriate.
- No ongoing treatment or follow-up required.
