Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department in New York with night shifts and advanced certification requirements.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a large hospital
  • 58-bed emergency unit in a facility with 352 total beds
  • Typical patient ratio of 1 : 5
  • Night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Uses Cerner EMR system
  • Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Block scheduling is not guaranteed

  • Active NY RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • CPI De-Escalation must be completed before or during first contract
  • TNCC, ENPC, and NIH Stroke Scale preferred
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
