Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the location to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This role involves interacting with a diverse community in a dynamic environment and requires driving responsibilities. Pay Rate : $17.91 / Hour

  • Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
  • Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
  • Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
  • Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM
  • Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
  • Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences observed during patrols.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Follow all Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific instructions while performing assigned duties in the healthcare setting.

  • Minimum Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Vaccines required for hospital environment.
  • Ability to work in hospital areas including the morgue is required.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
