About The Position

Travel Ultrasound Tech is needed for 13 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in North Dakota. Shifts consist of 5-8's Day Shifts and some weekends and call. 36 hours guaranteed. Participate in call rotation (1 : 3), call back is minimal. BLS, ARDMS (AB), and North Dakota Sonographer license is required. 2 years of experience is required. Echo experience is preferred. Positions patients for exams to obtain optimal image quality. Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain patient cooperation. Positions equipment and sets technical factors to obtain optimal studies. Performs portable exams as requested. Provides assistance to the Radiologist or provider during invasive procedures such as biopsies, and localizing procedures. Utilizes teleradiology equipment as needed. Utilizes hospital information system and radiology information system as required for charges and proper patient status. Performs Ultrasound studies by independently scanning patient part as ordered.
