Responsibilities :
- You'll have a passion for contributing to projects that enable the heart of our clients' manufacturing. Join us and you will have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor cleanroom, laboratories and other state-of-the-art manufacturing and service areas.
- Oversee designer work, provide team technical leadership, perform quality reviews of design packages and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process.
- Interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.
- Work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
- Engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet.
- With your solid understanding of all phases of construction document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications, you will prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction and will be our Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer in project meetings.
Qualifications :
Bachelor or higher Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering from an ABET-accredited programCurrent Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with ability to obtain in State of Idaho.At least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electricalSolid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)Well-versed in methods to perform voltage drop, arc flash, short circuit current, and load flow calculations, using SKM PTW, EasyPower or similar modeling software.Well-versed in engineering practices and procedures for specifications and selection of all types of electrical equipment and hardware.Experience reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specificationsField experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnelAbility to perform site punch walk services.Ideally, you'll also have :
At least 2 years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanroomsSemiconductor and / or Data Center / Mission Critical facilities electrical design experienceWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit or BIM softwarePhysical Requirements :
Position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs.
