As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing high-quality laboratory tests and analyses. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely results that are essential for patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, and immunology, according to established protocols and procedures.
• Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy, precision, and consistency.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing routine calibration, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare and process specimens, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and storage.
• Document results accurately in the laboratory information system (LIS), maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely test results that inform patient care decisions.
• Adhere to laboratory safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to maintain high standards of laboratory practice.
• Stay current with advancements in laboratory science and technology through continuing education and professional development.
