Position Summary

The Contents Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of contents restoration projects, including evaluation, inventory, pack-out, storage, estimating, and move-back. This role combines leadership in the field with estimating and client / adjuster communication. The position requires someone who can organize and manage crews while also producing accurate estimates for insurance carriers and private clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on job sites to evaluate, inventory, pack, clean, and return personal property (contents).
• Maintain organization, chain of custody, and documentation on all projects.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in contents restoration.
• Inspect losses, develop scopes of work, and prepare detailed estimates in Xactimate.
• Create diagrams and line items in Xactimate for submission to carriers and clients.
• Negotiate estimates and secure approvals from adjusters, clients, and third-party administrators (TPAs).
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and program requirements are met.
• Communicate clearly with clients, adjusters, and other stakeholders regarding project scopes and progress.
• Identify and report potential hazards (asbestos, lead, mold, etc.) and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Ensure profitability and accuracy of projects by monitoring costs and documentation.
