The expected salary range for this position is $240,000 - $280,000 depending on experience.

TPC-Building Projects, a Tutor Perini Company, is the company selected to execute construction of the Brooklyn Jail Project in New York. TPC-Building Projects is seeking a Procurement Manager (FF&E) to join the project in Brooklyn, NY.

The approximate $3B project scope includes design and construction of a new state-of-the-art facility. The facility will contain 1,040 beds for men, programmatic elements such as a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, and educational and workforce development spaces.
In addition, the facility will provide 30,000 square feet of community facility space, a below-grade tunnel connection to the Kings County Criminal Court building, a secured entry (sally port), and 100 accessory below-grade parking spaces for all staff and service providers.
Job Responsibilities / Description :
Development and management of the project procurement plan, schedule and strategy for procurement of all FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) for the project in accordance with Project Executive and Sr. Project Manager project specific needs / requirements and TPC protocols.Responsible for complete bidding / procurement / subcontracting process inclusive of; complete development of all FF&E scopes of work for all bid packages inclusive of all Scopes of Work (well thought out, thorough, coordinated & organized), Alternates, Unit Prices, clarifications, qualifications, exclusions, time frames / schedules, lead times, etc.Bid Proposal reviews, and coordination with all internal stakeholders, ensuring tasks are completed, including coordination with estimating department, operations team and project controls team.Development, input, monitoring, and management of the FF&E Procurement Status Report / s.Development of all bid documents, bid addenda, pre-bid meetings / minutes, bid analysis sheets, etc. as required for each bid package.Management of direct reports / support staff (APMs, PEs) to assist in all required procurement processes.Procurement planning, evaluating RFPs and bids, negotiating and managing suppliers, coordinating deadlines and schedules, strategic sourcing and managing resources.Development and management of all bid package and subcontract provisions with subcontract terms and conditions language and coordination for subcontract final approval.Management of Subcontract Agreements / PO document packaging, issuance & execution process.Estimating / quantity take-offs for development of scopes of work. Solid negotiation skills for management of bidders / subcontractors during the procurement process.Experienced in both the preconstruction phase and project execution phase.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in project management, procurement and / or estimating for construction building projects.Proficient in project management software (Procore) as well as industry standard tools and software, including Excel, Primavera P6, and other similar platforms.Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong work ethic.Industry expertise and supply chain knowledge.Experience working with NYC agencies is preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer
