Apply today and help us continue delivering exceptional care to those who need it most.\n\nWe are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in Fernley, NV, to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan.\n\nThis role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patients residence. • Execute physician prescribed plans of care\n
• Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record\n
• Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies\n
• Conduct patient assessments, coordination of care\n
• Perform various activities associated with daily living\n
• Monitor vitals and GI intake and output\n
• Assess skin integrity and administer wound care\n
• Monitor for changes in the patients condition such as weight loss / gain, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression\n
• Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health of the patients\n
• Provide education and training to the patient, their family, and / or the Home Health Aide\n
• Work with patients to be done one-on-one in the patients home to provide for a comfortable environment\n
• Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants\n
• Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet the patients needs\n\nMinimum Qualifactions\n
• Education, licensing, and certification : graduate of an accredited college or university, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing\n
• Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse\n
• TB test and physical examination\n
• Current CPR certification\n
• Maintain required insurance\n
• Good interpersonal skills\n
• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity\n
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients\n
• Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions\n
• Must have dependable transportation and be willing to commute to the patients home\n
• Ability to provide basic medical management up to medically fragile end of life care\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n
• 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting\n
