Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant fields include education, human services, academic advising, or social work.
- Experience coordinating, training, or supporting college students in academic or student support programs.
- Familiarity with the needs of community college students, including first-generation and underrepresented populations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage detailed, time-sensitive projects effectively.
- Training or coursework in business administration, leadership, or management.
- Access to reliable transportation for regular commute and occasional off-site meetings or events.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience mentoring or advising high school and / or college students.Familiarity with postsecondary transition and retention initiatives.Master's degree in a related field (e.g., education, human services, counseling, social work).Job Summary
The Dual Credit and Dual Enrollment Coordinator will lead efforts to develop, implement, and expand Morton College's dual credit and dual enrollment offerings, with a particular focus on increasing access and equity for high school students. A key initiative will be the creation of a structured associate degree pathway that enables students to begin earning college credentials while still in high school. This role involves close collaboration with college faculty and staff, high school partners, and community stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition from secondary to postsecondary education. The Coordinator will also oversee day-to-day operations of the dual credit / enrollment program and monitor student progress.
Specific Job Duties
Program Development and Coordination
Collaborate with faculty and high school partners to develop and expand dual credit and dual enrollment offerings.Lead the design and implementation of an associate degree pathway for high school students.Coordinate course scheduling and ensure curricular alignment across institutions.Collaborate with the faculty summer bridge coordinator to develop and expand the summer bridge program offerings.Student Recruitment and Support
Recruit students to participate in dual credit and dual enrollment courses.Host information sessions and orientation events in collaboration with the recruitment team.Monitor student participation and academic progress, providing referrals and support as needed.Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for partner high schools and external stakeholders.Maintain consistent communication with college and high school faculty and staff.Ensure timely completion of administrative processes such as roster verification and grade submissions.Data, Reporting, and Compliance
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data in compliance with grant requirements.Maintain accurate records to support enrollment, performance tracking, and program improvement.Participate in grant meetings, reporting, and evaluation activities as required.Other Duties
Complete professional development activities as required by the Illinois Community College System (ICCS) and Morton College.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.Special Instructions to Applicants
