The Conway Medical Center College of Health and Human Performance at Coastal Carolina University, Department of Recreation and Sport Management, announces one (1) nine-month, full-time Lecturer position beginning in August 2026.The Recreation and Sport Management Department seeks highly qualified individuals who will play integral roles in the continued growth and development of rapidly expanding programs in recreation and sport management. Candidates must possess an earned Master’s degree in Recreation, Sport Management, or highly related discipline; excellence in teaching and community / public engagement. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate curriculum, professional service / outreach, commitment to program assessment and assessment of future professionals. In addition, successful candidates should demonstrate expertise and teaching expertise in the following areas, respectively : Introduction to Recreation and Sport Management; Administration of Recreation and Sport, Leadership; Esport; Commercial Recreation; Recreation Sport Programming; Intercollegiate Athletics; or related areas.Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, just nine miles from the Atlantic coastal resort city of Myrtle Beach.
