Job Description

As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication, while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor access points and identify individuals who may require assistance or further verification as they enter or leave the site.

Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client representatives.

Support site operations by maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence and assisting with visitor management and / or delivery coordination as needed.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
