Occupational Therapist (OTR) W / Sign on Bonus- Inpatient

• Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate a Residents condition and develop an appropriate occupational rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of occupational therapy assistants when required.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

• Occupational Therapist Requirements
• Must hold current and active OT license or registration in New Mexico.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience :

• Inpatient OT : 1 year (Required)
• geriatric therapy : 1 year (Preferred)

License / Certification :

• Occupational Therapy license with the State of New Mexico (Required)
