Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a dynamic retail environment. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 06 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sun 12 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences within the retail environment.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any suspected shoplifting or policy violations.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly following any incidents or as directed by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
