Certified Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Medical Coder - Infusion - Cancer Center.

Key Responsibilities

Provide coding and coding auditing services based on operative reports

Analyze and translate medical diagnoses and procedures into numerical codes

Act as a liaison to physicians and clinical teams, providing feedback on documentation and coding

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Cardiology Coder (CCC)

2+ years of physician billing experience, including 1 year of coding experience

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Diversified understanding of CPT guidelines and Medicare regulations
