Project Manager
Q2 is seeking a Project Manager responsible for the successful configuration and deployment of Q2's Risk & Fraud Management Software Solutions. This position is a hybrid project management and technical implementation role that involves application troubleshooting and support. This Project Manager will work with our largest / most complex customers through the implementation of the products and serve as the primary contact with the customer during the project confident executive presence is a must. This individual must be exceptionally detail-oriented and an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting.
A typical day includes :
- Partnering with customers to understand business requirements and expectations
- Designing and executing project plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions
- Directing project resources to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Working closely with the customer and team to problem solve issues that arise
- Tracking status and providing updates in relation to the overall implementation process in a manner befitting our largest / most complex customers
- Training and educating customers on the product and configuration options
Here's what we're looking for :
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent related work experience.Experience managing large and complex customer relationships, corresponding with executive-level customer contactsProject Management Methodology exposure preferred (PMP or PMI)Familiarity with enterprise software deployment architecture and methodologiesAbility to organize and execute multi-facet software deploymentsExperience building documentation and project plans using Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPointCapable of assessing project risks and mitigationsAbility to convey technical concepts to business-oriented banking project teams and interact with technical internal resourcesStrong written and oral communication skills with excellent people and teamwork skillsAbility to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditionsAttention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentFinancial Services and enterprise software experience preferredThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
