Description

As an Analog Integrated Circuit (IC) Engineering Co-Op you will work closely with design engineers and layout designers developing products for wireless mobile systems. Work activities will include : circuit simulation, lab testing of circuits, presentation of design expectations / results, and participation in design reviews. You will get to know how things work in industry, accumulate advanced technical knowledge and skills, gain valuable experience and explore full-time job opportunities within Skyworks. Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :

• Work with experienced engineers to design / develop analog IC for Multi-chip modules
• Run simulations using design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso
• Participate and present in design reviews
• Perform lab testing using standard electronics test equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve design or technical issues
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians

Required Experience and Skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
