A Hospitalist Physician is needed for coverage in a community hospital in Western Virginia. The physician will be responsible for rounding on 10 to 12 patients, including some ICU coverage, and will work on a flexible schedule with 12-hour day shifts and 24-hour call requirements. Ideal candidates should be board certified, hold a Virginia license, and have the ability to intubate, although no procedures are required.

Our client seeks a Hospitalist for coverage in a western VA hospital. The right candidate will round on 10 to 12 patients, including 1 - 2 in the 3 bed open ICU. This will be solo coverage

VA License

BC preferred

12 hours shifts-Day; 24 hour call

No Procedures, although ability to intubate is a plus

Flexible Schedule - partial weeks or 7 On / 7 Off

3 + month assignment

Specialties are on hand to support the Hospitalist and ER Physicians provide procedures
