Our Non Certified Nursing Assistant position is available to those who recently completed and passed a CNA course. This position helps you bridge your time until you complete your State test to become certified. We offer extended training and help connect you to refresher courses that are hosted on-site.

Position Summary

The Nurse Aide in Training is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients under the directsupervision of a licensed nurse to assure patient safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, andpsychosocial well-being of each patient in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a State-approved CNA program and may work for a single consecutive period of four (4)months. At the conclusion of the four (4) month period the Nurse Aide in Training must meet the certification requirementsto become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current duringemployment
