We are looking for a highly skilled Visual Storyteller & Video Editor to bring engaging, kid-centered visual content to life as part of the Mystery Writing team. This role will help develop a new K–5 writing product designed to transform how students and teachers experience writing in the classroom , making it as joyful and captivating as our flagship science lessons. Working closely with a Scriptwriter / Activity Developer, you’ll curate impactful visuals, edit video content, and collaboratively build lessons that make complex writing concepts simple, relatable, and fun. You’ll be part of a n iterative, creative team passionate about helping kids fall in love with learning through storytelling and hands-on exploration.

In This Role You Will :

• Collaborate with a Scriptwriter / Activity Developer and internal teams to bring writing lessons to life through compelling images, videos, and animations that are uniquely engaging for elementary-aged students
• Source “wow” visuals from a variety of sources that clarify abstract concepts and inspire laughter, curiosity, creativity , and engage ment
• I deate on concepts that illustrate the learning goals in partnership with a Scriptwriter / Activity Developer, and rapid iteration throughout the lesson development process , ensuring prop er incorporation of feedback

This hybrid role is designed to be within a reasonable distance of our Charlotte HQs . Candidates must have access to a reliable internet connection and an appropriate home studio or workspace setup for creative content development and virtual collaboration.
