Overview
Onsite Level 1 IT Support (Desktop, Dell, Windows, AV Technologies) in Austin. This contract position provides onsite IT support through the end of the year, serving as the primary point of contact for end-user support, Tier 1 troubleshooting, AV technology for meetings, and general desktop support.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting and end-user support across a Microsoft environment
- Set up and manage AV technology for group calls and client meetings
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware (Dell systems with Intel Core i5 processors)
- Provide deskside support and resolve technical issues directly with end users
- Assist with general IT support requests and escalate issues as needed
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal staff and clients
- Maintain a professional yet approachable presence in a casual / business-casual environment
Qualifications
1+ years of Help Desk, PC Technician, or deskside support experienceExperience as a deskside technician (manufacturing or healthcare background a plus, not required)Hands-on experience with Dell hardware and Microsoft technologiesStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve Tier 1 issues efficientlyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to pass a drug test and DBA background check (work involves controlled substances)Additional Details
