We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools, as well as fitting and assembling parts to fabricate specialized tools, mechanisms, and machines. A core duty involves fabricating molds and power press dies for sheet metal production by analyzing blueprints and specifications to develop or edit NC milling machine programs. You will design your own set-ups, operate metalworking machines such as NC milling machines, lathes, shapers, and grinders to machine parts to specification, and verify their conformance. A strong working knowledge of various control platforms (e.g., Fanuc, Okuma) is required. You will also consult with engineers, continually evaluate procedures for efficiency, and install various system components. The ability to operate a forklift is a plus. The successful candidate will be highly skilled, demonstrate strong technical and organizational support, and maintain excellent safety and quality standards.
