Trinity Rail is hiring a Mobile Equipment Operator at our Jonesboro plant.

The Mobile Equipment Operator position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not shy away from a challenge. As a member of the materials and distribution team at Trinity, you will perform activities related to processing, receiving, recording, storing, and / or shipping raw materials and finished goods. You will operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials / products between warehouse and manufacturing facilities. You may also utilize computer software to identify materials / goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders, and maintain inventory.

Qualifications - External

What you will do :

• Operate a lift truck with over 15,000-pound capacity
• Become certified in the use of Stationary Overhead Crane and / or mobile crane
• Operate or act as ground crew for track / switch engine
• Operate a scissor lift
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Participate in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
