Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA. Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care. Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care. Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Circulating Nurse located in Orange, CA. The Circulating Nurse will be responsible for managing the nursing care within the surgical room, monitoring patient safety and comfort, preparing the operating room, and ensuring all necessary equipments and supplies are sterile and ready for use. The role also includes reviewing surgical schedules, coordinating with surgical teams, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the surgical procedures. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have 2 years Circulating experience in Orthopedics and Ophthalmology Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings. Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification. Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification. Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification. Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
