Program Manager
Mantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Manager to join our team in Camp Springs, MD. This is a hybrid position. This role requires a strong background in project and program management, with a particular focus on Infrastructure IT, and a proven ability to utilize DevOps and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical aptitude and outstanding communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle for Infrastructure IT projects and programs, from initiation to closure
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
- Implement and enforce DevOps and Agile concepts throughout the project management process to optimize efficiency and delivery
- Manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary
- Communicate project status, risks, and successes to stakeholders and senior leadership effectively
- Ensure projects adhere to organizational standards and best practices
Required Qualifications :
10+ years of experience in project and program management including :Project Management Professional (PMP)5+ years of experience managing Infrastructure IT projects, programs, and peopleMust have led a team of 50+3+ year of experience using DevOps and Agile conceptsExceptional technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skillsPreferred Qualifications :
Experience as formal key personnel Program Manager / Project Manager in support of a federal contract, responsible for all aspects of execution (including but not limited to delivery, staffing, on contract growth, P&L, etc.)Proven delivery experience supporting customers within the Department of Homeland SecurityAdditional technical and management certifications and degreesClearance Requirement :
Must be able to pass USCIS background investigation (public trust)Physical Requirements :
Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.Ability to travel (car or air) and present at conferences or meetings.
