Lawn Care Technician Responsibilities :
- Driving company vehicle from Lawn Doctor office / warehouse to customers' properties (All specialists drive customized Dodge ProMaster3500 vans)
- Operating and maintaining Lawn Doctor's patented Turf Tamer Stand-On Applicator
- Treating lawns with high-quality, environmentally sensitive products (grass seed, fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides)
- Identifying various grasses, weeds, diseases and insects then implementing appropriate control solutions
- Aerating / Overseeding and Power-Seeding lawns (different from mere aeration / over-seeding) with Lawn Doctor's patented Power Seeder
- Communicating clearly (verbally and written) with clients and office staff about lawn issues and solutions
- Meeting and exceeding production standards and goals bonuses based on performance so you can earn more
- No landscaping, mowing, trimming or snow removal
Lawn Care Technician Job Requirements :
Adherence to the company's policies and safety standardsMaintain a valid Indiana Drivers License with clean driving record and insurability; High School Diploma or EquivalentReliable transportation to work (Office / Warehouse in Westfield)Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to thrive in team environment yet self-directed when working aloneAbility to complete required customer follow-up process on iPad (proficiency with Real Green Mobile Live software preferred but not required)Ability to operate equipment and machineryAbility to regularly lift in excess of 50 lbsDrug testing and background checks may be requiredBlah Blah Blah (Mention this line if we interview in person and I'll know you actually read the job description and I'll buy you coffee or lunch or whatever we're doing that day)Lawn Care Experience is preferred (though not required); Registered Technician Certification is preferred (though not required) and we will pay for the cost of the exam and licensing for youExperienced technicians who already have their RT or 3B License, will receive a bonus after the two-week training periodLawn Care Specialist Compensation :
Compensation is commensurate with experience and performance. Our first-year Lawn Care Specialists earn $800-$1,000 / week ($20 - $25 hourly). Base pay for new technicians begins at $750 / week (based on a 40 hour work week) for the first two weeks of training then with production and retention bonuses, motivated team members have the opportunity to earn significantly more!
