Overview
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience for our Georgetown, Delaware office.
Responsibilities
- Provide task support to the COT group
- Coordinate and manage drilling projects and oversee junior staff with management of these projects, as well as visual classification and log preparation
- Coordinate and review laboratory testing
- Complete accurate geotechnical exploration reports
- Perform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc.
- Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of studyP.E. or other professional licensure is preferred4 to 7 years of relevant experienceOwn Transportation, valid driver's license and good driving recordEnjoy working outdoorsNICET, ACI and / or other certifications desiredBenefits
