Candidates should also have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for success in this role. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency. Candidates should have a good understanding of company policies / handbook and be able to consistently administer them. Extended periods of sitting at a workstation. Speaking in person and over the telephone or Teams online and the ability to hear, comprehend, and document detailed information from others. Ability to type, reach and grasp. Intermittent standing and walking within the plant environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing for extended periods over the phone and in person. Ability to work in manufacturing sites, including foundries, steel mills, machine shops, forging shops, assembly centers, etc. Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve production issues. Support the Lean Flex Flow Process to optimize production efficiency. Actively participate in quarterly supervisor meetings to drive continuous improvement within the production environment. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Regular in-person attendance at work is a necessary function of the role.
