The Fleet Manager oversees all aspects of vehicle fleet management and maintenance. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and compliance skills to purchase vehicles, schedule maintenance, optimize vehicle utilization, knowledge of DOT requirements and ensure exceptional service delivery. Utilize fleet data to optimize fleet performance Manage vehicle licensure and registration Personnel Management : Coordinate with Operations Supervisors to train new Service Technicians, including pre-trip checklist training and DOT requirements. Assist in training new Drivers. Develop methods to decrease costs and improve efficiency in transportation operations Have an understanding of all DOT requirements. Provide regular reports to management on budgeting, maintenance, and fleet progress. Qualifications Our top candidate is : 6-7 Years experience of fleet management Active CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements Acceptable criminal background check and motor vehicle record check Pass a mandated drug test and DOT Physical
