IT Administrator
This role is 100% onsite in Idaho Falls, ID
Position Summary
Coordinate with the Vice President of IT, the administration of the company's computer infrastructure including imaging and installation of all computer equipment and systems. This position is also responsible for assisting with the maintenance and coordination of the information technology systems, to include the helpdesk, servers, computers, printers, networks, telephones, camera systems, integrated copiers, and provide technical advice and support to system users. Travel amounts of 25-40% are associated with this position along with occasional overnight stays.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
- Provides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users.
- Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and / or users, via voicemail, e-mail or in-person communication.
- Connects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applications.
- Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
- Managing the daily operation and changes to the Service Desk and its strategy
- Conducting a continuous assessment of current service desk practices, systems, and identifying areas for improvement
- Discovery and delivery of new service desk technology approaches and implementing next generation solutions to ensure customer service is always met
- Work with the Vice President of IT in developing and implementing the company's
- computer infrastructure to ensure service is continuous for company staff
- Reviewing, analyzing and delivering data information to present regular reports to the Vice President of IT concerning compliance and overall performance of the service desk
- Providing direction, monitoring performance, motivating staff, building a positive working environment, and partnering with the Information Security Officer to promote team performance
- Provides updates and additions to company website
- Assist with daily operations of IT, assist with Security operations, and perform other duties as assigned.
Education and / or Experience
High School graduate or equivalent required. An Associate or Bachelor's degree in information technology in computer science or related subject is preferred.3-5 years of previous IT work experienceValid State Driver's License and a driving record / MVR that is insurable by company auto carrier's standards / requirementsKnowledge and / or Skills
