Responsibilities Work in a Med / Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am Patient population includes medical-surgical conditions requiring cardiac monitoring Use of Qualivis - Lotus system for timekeeping Must complete required modules via Silkroad pre-start and annually if on contract for a continuous year Onsite badge pickup and fingerprinting required before start date Permanent and per diem staff cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for one year from previous end date PAPRs not considered an alternative for caregivers with facial hair unless medically or religiously exempt Travelers may be floated based on clinical experience Exempt from the nicotine-free policy until further notice for nurses Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on unit needs Requirements Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med / Surg Telemetry experience Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med / Surg Telemetry specialty required Must complete BCI / FBI fingerprints within 48 hours of contract signing Negative 10 Panel Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start, except for nurses who are temporarily exempt from nicotine requirements No license hits; facility will not accept any traveler with an open background case Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-610105.
