2 years MedSurg / Telemetry experience required

Description :

The RN is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care.

The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.

The ability to tolerate moderate to high stress levels is essential.

Experience in reading telemetry strips is necessary.

The RN will care for patients with general medical conditions such as diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory problems, renal issues, and wounds.

Familiarity with procedures such as chest tubes, tracheostomies, and IV starts is important.

Management of medications such as amiodarone, fentanyl PCA, ketamine PCA, dilaudid PCA, and heparin is required.

The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 5-6 patients per nurse.

The unit supports a structured team environment with CNAs, charge nurses, and support staff.

There will be opportunities to float to other MedSurg units as needed.

Scheduling includes weekend rotations with no on-call requirements.

Travelers will work 75% of holidays.

The unit culture emphasizes patient-centered care, reliability, and teamwork.

Scrub color will be royal blue.
