Responsibilities Work in a 16-bed Critical Care Unit (ICU) with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 2 : 1 Care for patients requiring ventilators, drips, CRRT, and assist with bedside procedures such as line placements and chest tubes Utilize equipment including Epic EMR, Pyxis, GE Monitors, Stryker ICU beds, Caminos, and Maquet Booms Work 12-hour varied shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required Will not work alone during any shift Float between MSICU, CICU, step-down units (CTU, IMC), and may float to Med-Surg, Inpatient Rehab, and Clinical Decision Unit as needed Floating to nearby facilities within 30-40 miles may be required Responsibilities include comprehensive ICU nursing care and assisting with advanced bedside procedures General Nursing Orientation and 2 orientation shifts provided in the unit Dress code requires scrubs of any color with close-toed nonslip shoes Expect to float first if needed per facility policy Coverage for assigned holidays is expected Requirements Active WI or compact RN license Current BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required CCRN and TNCC certifications are preferred but not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-608138.
