We are seeking a Safety Manager to provide safety oversight for electrical installation projects in Hilliard, OH. This mid-term contract is ideal for experienced safety professionals with a strong background in electrical systems, OSHA compliance, and contractor coordination.

Compensation :

💲 Rate : $47-$49 / hr

🍽 Per Diem : Not offered

💸 Pay Frequency : Weekly

Schedule :

🕒 Hours : 45-50 hours / week

📅 Schedule : Monday-Friday

Project Scope :

This role involves full-time safety oversight for the installation of electrical systems, underground wiring, and conduit support. The Safety Manager will monitor hot work, enforce lockout / tagout procedures, and ensure strict adherence to OSHA and NFPA standards. Daily site inspections, contractor coordination, and toolbox talks are essential to maintaining a safe and compliant job site.

Qualifications :

✅ OSHA 510 Certification (Required)

✅ NFPA 70E Certification (Required)

✅ 5+ years of safety oversight experience

✅ 3+ years of project experience with electrical subcontractors

✅ Strong understanding of hot work and LOTO safety procedures

✅ Excellent communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct daily safety inspections and field audits

Enforce OSHA, NFPA, and site-specific safety standards

Lead toolbox talks and pre-task planning sessions

Monitor electrical installations, underground wiring, and conduit work

Ensure compliance with hot work and lockout / tagout protocols

Support incident investigation and corrective action plans

Maintain accurate safety records and reporting

Skills :

Advanced knowledge of electrical safety standards and NFPA 70E

Strong leadership and ability to collaborate with electrical subcontractors

Proficiency in hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and safety management systems

Knowledge Base :

Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, underground wiring, and LOTO procedures. Prior experience in industrial or commercial electrical installation projects is highly preferred.
