American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for a short-term Level II Trauma facility; first-time travelers welcome.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a short-term acute care hospital in the acute care PT unitPatient ratio is 1 : 1 for therapy sessionsDay shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 7 : 00 to 15 : 00Rotating weekend coverage with full-time therapy staff requiredNo call and no floating between units assigned, but may float to nearby sister facilities as neededEpic EMR is used and experience is requiredLevel II Trauma CenterMain responsibilities include providing one-on-one acute care physical therapy to adult patientsExpect to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary therapy teamOrientation modules are required prior to start and are self-reportedSolid navy blue scrub attire is requiredFree employee and visitor parking available on siteReturn staff must be separated for at least 3 months prior to rehire as a travelerLimited RTO (requested time off) must be submitted up front; excessive requests may delay or prevent offer considerationTravelers are expected to float to other in-state facilities if required\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience requiredValid state PT license required if applicable; compact license must be active at time of considerationCurrent BLS certification requiredEpic EMR experience requiredMust provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three yearsMust live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibilityMust be able to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)Background check must be clear of Nursys or background policy hits\n Benefits\n
