job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition is in a short-term acute care hospital in the acute care PT unit Patient ratio is 1 : 1 for therapy sessions Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts, 7 : 00 to 15 : 00 Rotating weekend coverage with full-time therapy staff required No call and no floating between units assigned, but may float to nearby sister facilities as needed Epic EMR is used and experience is required Level II Trauma Center Main responsibilities include providing one-on-one acute care physical therapy to adult patients Expect to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team Orientation modules are required prior to start and are self-reported Solid navy blue scrub attire is required Free employee and visitor parking available on site Return staff must be separated for at least 3 months prior to rehire as a traveler Limited RTO (requested time off) must be submitted up front; excessive requests may delay or prevent offer consideration Travelers are expected to float to other in-state facilities if required Minimum 1 year of recent acute care physical therapy experience required Valid state PT license required if applicable; compact license must be active at time of consideration Current BLS certification required Epic EMR experience required Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years Must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility Must be able to work at least 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Background check must be clear of Nursys or background policy hits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
