Required Qualifications : \n1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience\nGraduate of an accredited nursing program.\nLicense, Certification, Registration\nRegistered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)\nBasic Life Support\nAdvanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program\nDemonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring.\nDemonstrated IV Skills and ability to perform lab draws.\nDemonstrated knowledge of high risk medication administration (Magnesium / Oxytocin / Insulin).\nDemonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing.\nDemonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing.\nDemonstrated knowledge of IStat.\nDemonstrated ability to perform Adult Cardiac monitoring.\nDemonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring.\nDemonstrated ability to perform heel sticks / venipuncture on newborn.\nDemonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance.\nDemonstrated knowledge of Bili- blankets / lights.\nDemonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers.\nDemonstrated knowledge to support gyn teaching & post-operative bladder training.\nDemonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching.\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications : \nBachelors degree in nursing or related field.\nMinimum three (3) years of labor and delivery experience.\nMinimum three (3) years of postpartum experience.\nMinimum one (1) year of medical / surgical nursing experience.
