Summary :
The Director of Guardian is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day activities of Summit 7's Guardian program to include service desk operations, engineering, and NOC operations. This role is a critical component of ensuring a successful offering of the Guardian services to include team productivity, gross / net profit, staffing, utilization hours, and department expenses. This person will also be able to identify and drive processes and standardization within the organization while also effectively leading teams of diverse technical capabilities to meet assigned objectives and goals.
Essential Functions :
Oversee and lead the managed services offerings of the Guardian programs at Summit 7Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational processes, procedures, and standardsIndirectly supervise, manage, and mentor tier 1, 2, and 3 level staff (e.g. Helpdesk, dispatch, NOC, etc.) balancing staffing, workloads, and future growthProvide updates to managers, supervisors, and executive leaders to seek cooperation and resolve problemsProvide guidance to team members on developing their personal technical skills and on the implementation and management of technical solutionsReview team objectives for competence and consistency to ensure alignment with corporate objectivesDevelop evaluation criteria that will serve to measure the progress and effectiveness of team operationsProvide technical guidance to team members performing complex design, development, and implementations and / or other specific projects or tasks on scheduled timelinesEnsuring strict adherence to maintenance windows, Systems Change Management, Release Management, QA / Testing and Disaster Recovery protocolsOngoing ownership of all managed services including the ticketing and escalation systems / processes , ensuring tickets are managed and worked through with appropriate teamsMeet with customers, department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to seek cooperation and resolve problems . Manage team output against customer experience by monitoring survey results.Requirements
5+ years of Information Security experience in cloud-based environments (Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) in both private and public (AWS, Azure) environments)Security+ CEExperience with GCC High and Azure GovernmentExpert knowledge in CMMC, DFARS, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53Superior communication skillsExperience with the following : Azure Firewall, Azure Sentinel, Duo, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, network devices and access points.Familiarity with various programming / scripting languagesFamiliarity with web programming and infrastructureAll candidates MUST BE a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check. Proof of citizenship and eligibility to work must be provided immediately upon hire.
