Responsibilities

  • Lead a skilled and motivated team in advancing current technologies, developing new processes, and implementing new technologies in a 24 / 7 manufacturing operation producing critical components used in the assembly of innovative lighting technologies
  • Responsible for transferring new products from the R&D phase to the production floor through structured industrialization and new product introduction methodologies
  • Motivate and stimulate your team to meet technical challenges with innovative ideas and deliver to critical timelines
  • Contribute to a safe and dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and development

    • Requirements

  • Must have prior NPI Manufacturing and / or Process Development experience
  • Superior organizational skills aimed at innovating, managing timelines, and delivering results
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of manufacturing and assembly technologies and able to effectively implement said technologies with quality and cost in mind
  • Working knowledge of production methods for ceramic, glass, or polymer materials and coatings seen as a definite plus
  • Ability to lead teams by establishing challenging expectations, developing individuals, establishing structured processes, and creating a culture of commitment and accountability
  • Strong applied understanding of Design for Six Sigma principles; Formal Six Sigma training considered a definite plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Materials, Polymers, Paints); Master's degree in Engineering Management, Technology Management, or Business Administration preferred
