Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details :

• Work 4 10-hour shifts with call responsibilities
• 1 : 1 patient ratio in Angiography / IR Interventional Labs
• Work with 3-4 person teams consisting of 2 techs and 2 RNs (ideal staffing)
• Must have critical care / angio (IR) experience
• ICU / ER experience required
• Critical care drip management skills needed
• Angio / IR experience including stroke and trauma care required
• Perform procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma
• Work with specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
• Use EPIC Cupid documentation system
• Required certifications : ACLS and BLS
• Dress code : Navy blue and black for tech positions
• Work with high acuity patient population in Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center environment
• Work in 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR) located in Heart and Vascular Tower
