Job Description

West Shore Insurance Defense law firm is seeking a Paralegal or work in their Contracts Department.

Key responsibilities include :

Contract Review & Management

  • Review, summarize, and track a large volume of commercial contracts, including

NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts

  • Identify key terms, obligations, and risks, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Assist in drafting and revising standard contract templates and clauses
  • Draft discreet and professional communications for operators and executives

    • regarding legal terms, obligations, and risks associated with contracts with attorney

    supervision

    Contract Database Administration

  • Maintain and update the client’s contract lifecycle management system
  • Ensure accurate metadata tagging, version control, and timely renewal alerts
  • Generate reports and analytics for internal stakeholders

    • Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate legal and cross-functional projects, including initiatives, due

    • diligence efforts, and process improvements

  • Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines across departments
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and status reports

    • Corporate Structure & Governance

  • Understand and interpret complex corporate structures, including subsidiaries,

    • joint ventures, and holding companies

  • Assist with entity formation, maintenance, and governance documentation

    • Technology Proficiencies

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
