Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,500–$2,560 per week CVOR RN Job Details – Columbus, Ohio Position : Locum Tenens CVOR Registered Nurse (Travel Contract) Specialty : Pediatric Surgical Heart – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Location : Columbus, Ohio (ZIP 43205) – Ohio nursing jobs Assignment Start : October 27, 2025 Assignment End : January 26, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts / week (07 : 00 – 17 : 00) Total Hours : 40 hours per week On-call : 1 weekend / month, 2-3 days / week Patient Population : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults Charting : Epic EMR CVOR RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience (adult or pediatric cardiovascular operating room) At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment as a CVOR RN Active Ohio State RN License or Compact RN License BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required Proficiency with Epic charting system Ability to float to various hospital units as needed Must provide 2 professional references (one from a manager or supervisor) Cannot have been a permanent employee at Nationwide within the last 2 years No local candidates (must reside outside a 60-mile radius of Columbus, Ohio) CVOR RN Responsibilities Assist in pediatric and adult cardiovascular operating room procedures, including arterial switch operations, ASD / VSD repairs, ECMO insertion / decannulation, and valve repair / replacement Support anesthesia teams during induction and provide advanced cardiac monitoring Maintain infection control standards, specimen handling, and regulatory charting for transplant surgeries Ensure electrosurgical safety and proper operation of specialized cardiovascular equipment Participate in universal protocol (time out) and radiation safety procedures Float to other hospital units as required by the assignment Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Columbus, Ohio, and take the next step in your CVOR nursing career!
